DinoTrek Opens At South Devon Theme Park

The south-west is a wonderful place to go on a family holiday and if you're about to head off there for a trip and currently looking for things to do in Devon, consider making your way to the Woodlands Family Theme Park near Dartmouth - which has just opened a brand new attraction for this year, Dino Trek.

Visitors to the theme park can now go on a very exciting expedition that takes them more than 160 million years into the past, with dinosaurs now in residence that are ready to roar as people walk by! It's the first of two such attractions due to be launched this year and certainly worth a visit if you do happen to be in the area.

Marketing manager of the park Spiros Spozitos said: "It is such an exciting attraction, all the team at Woodlands have worked very hard trying to make sure we provide a dinosaur experience like no other."

Of course, if dinosaurs aren't exactly what you're after from your holiday, Woodlands has a lot more to offer. There are more than 100 acres to explore and you can save yourself up to 20 per cent if you book your entrance tickets online. Happily, all events and rides are included in your entry fee.

There's also a zoo farm that your kids are sure to love, especially the Big Animal Barn where you'll all find the likes of shire horses, calves, llamas, ponies, goats and a whole lot more. What more could you possible want from a day out in Devon?
